Tomorrow is of course a very big night here in the United States, as we decide who will act as our leader for the next four years. If you can vote but have not done so, then do not read any further until you have gone to your polling place. This post will still be here when you come back. If you have voted, congratulations on being part of such an important process to the functioning of our country. Election night puts me in a bit of a predicament: I generally do my ICC work in the evening, which will be about the time polls close and the returns start to come in. Additionally, I have thirty-five days to get in sixty-six more hours of this mentorship, so I do not really feel like I can take a whole night off during that time.
Since I am dealing with the rather simple task of finding and recording e-mails, I decided this evening that I would do so while watching the Monday night game between the Buccaneers and Giants, which was a lot closer than I would have anticipated. Working with the television or radio on is something I try to avoid, I find it is too easy to get distracted when I do that. Tonight, however, I was able to type and follow the action on the gridiron at the same time. Thus there is no reason to think I cannot look through more e-mails at the same time I am keeping track of the votes.
